Sports day on the end of AIDS campaign

The Egyptian Red Crescent concluded the awareness campaign about acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS) in collaboration with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies during December and January.
During these 2 months, ERC volunteers organized several events, including the awareness campaign to African migrants’ community in Ard El lewa and Eltabba areas. ERC also launched other campaigns in some of the sports clubs, such as el Zohour, Heliopolis and El-Shams clubs. It also organized campaigns for the employees of ERC’s central blood bank for the prevention of this disease.
The event was concluded with a sports day and a 4 km running race, 350 people participated it, in collaboration with Night Runner team.
The day started with a seminar about AIDS prevention and ended with lighting ERC headquarters building in Nasr City with red light that belongs to AIDS awareness campaigns.
